Manufacturing Maintenance Manager / Plant Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Manager/ Plant Engineer to join our leadership team and drive equipment reliability, maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement at our manufacturing facility. In this vital role, you will champion Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, lead a high-performing maintenance team, and work closely with the Plant Manager to optimize operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead a proactive, comprehensive safety program ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and fostering a safety-first culture.

Develop and implement a reliability-centered maintenance strategy that maximizes equipment uptime, improves Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and reduces operational costs.

Provide leadership and mentorship to the maintenance team, promoting technical excellence, accountability, and collaboration.

Oversee skills development and technical training programs to enhance team capabilities.

Manage and execute capital projects, contribute to annual budgeting, and drive cost-efficient operations.

Apply Root Cause Analysis tools (e.g., FMEA, 5 Why’s, ATS) to identify, resolve, and prevent critical equipment failures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive plant-wide process improvements and support all continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain a strong focus on Maintenance Excellence and operational reliability.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field required.

Minimum of 3+ years leading plant maintenance in a manufacturing setting OR 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing operations.

Proficient with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); experience in TPM or reliability engineering strongly preferred.

In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and a proven ability to identify and close safety gaps.

Strong technical foundation in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, lubrication, and predictive maintenance systems.

Exceptional leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills.

Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and optimizing departmental resources.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
